Posted: 4/19/06 at 11:07amWhat do mean the sound is lacking? I wish they kept recording them like RCA used to. There was an acoustic sound to the room. It sounds like a stage production instead of a studio session. Nonesuch gets that acoustic quality to their recordings these days, but the other labels, not so much.

Posted: 4/19/06 at 11:51amI mean, when they moved it from LP to Cd, it lost something. So I don't mean the way it was recording, I mean the way it was transferred. The reissue would have solved that, but that appears to be dead in the water at the moment.
