Hi All
Just wanted to let the entire broadway community know that Tracy Jai Edwards is amazing. She has been playing Amber in the broadway company of hairspray and recently left the production. Not only is Ms. Edwards performance in hairspray amazing but she is the sweetest woman you will ever meet. I hope to see her real soon again on broadway as this gal got some major talent.

I love Tracy and can't wait to see her on the Broadway stage again. She is my Amber and always will be. What talent she has, and she's so sweet. I love that girl.

Tracy Jai is such a sweetheart! a great person and performer I can't wait till she is on a stage again! She has made a fan out of me about a year ago when she started as Amber!

Tracy is an extraordinary person and friend. I'd take a bullet for her.

No one needs to worry about her future. She's got more going on than you can imagine.

If you look at Brooke Tansleys website-
http://www.brooketansley.com/friendsandfamily.html ...She also has some pretty powerfull words to say about Tracy.
While I only met her a few times ...very briefly after a couple of performances of Hairspray,She was as wonderfull in person as she was on the stage.God Bless in all you do Tracy...Hope to see you on stage again real soon.According to Jim...it sounds like it will not be long.
Also...Great to see you post again Jim...we miss you.

I felt the need to spread the Tracy love. I really miss her and truely hope to see her on stage again soon. Maybe even on screen. You never know. That girl has talent. You are loved and missed Tracy Jai Edwards!

Tracy it has been to long already...Almost 6 weeks since you last played Amber.
Since my family and I never saw the original cast of Hairspray.. You will ALWAYS be our Amber.We do so miss you.
Sure hope that we see you again ... Real soon!

Tracy is so funny, and was so sweet when I met her briefly at the stage door to Hairspray. I wish her all the luck in the world. She is my Amber, and I'm very certain we'll see more of her. Tracy is wonderful. :)

Wow! Definately a GREAT picture.Jim with two Ambers.
Must have been one great birthday party Jim...Glad for Jordan now in NYC.But still sad that Tracy Jai is gone.Great Picture.

k i'm bumping this up because i feel like it. i have a tracy jai story!!! yay! ok.

Last November, I wrote Tracy a letter telling her how much I enjoyed her interpretation of Amber and all that jazz. So about a week later, she replied!!! Her letter was soooooo sweet! It had about 15 smily face stickers all over it. She told me that my letter was the first fan letter she had ever received. She told me that it made her cry. So, Tracy answered my questions, wished me happy holidays, and thanked me about a million times.

I just love her waaay too much.

The smiley face stickers all over is adorable.

I met her a the stage door once and she was soooo sweet and then a few days later I was walking down the 52nd Street and saw her outside the stage door and said hi and that I loved her as Amber and she was great and she said "Oh, thank you so much." So we kept walking and my sister goes "Did you not see her cell phone?" She had been calling someone so I felt badly about that but she was so sweet anyway even though I think I interrupted her. A few more times, my family has seen her outside the stage door and told her how much we enjoyted her and she has always been really gracious and sweet.

I miss Tracy...
