Hi guys, we're coming to NYC this coming October (OCT 26-29). Am trying to book our hotel now but can't seem to find the good deals on hotels we usually get. We usually travel in July/August timeframe and was wondering if just because it's a different season means the prices will be higher? Should I just wait till until closer to time to book? Any help would be great!

Well, you ARE in-season...july/august is cheaper than anytime after mid-october! I don't necessarily think that it'll get cheaper closer to the date but why don't you get one of those travel services (orbitz, travelocity, etc) to notify you when there's a cheaper deal for NY hotels? That may help you out, I think.
