Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a nice female trio from a musical that has has strong voices. In our three people we have one person who can be a soprano one person to do alto. I can do soprano and alto and all of us can do mezzo. We're a very very very strong group and we really want to find something to do for districts...PLEASE HELP!!!!!
If you wanna go the cliche route... there's always 'Matchmaker' from FIDDLER
You Could Drive a Person Crazy-COMPANY
You Gotta Get A Gimmick-GYPSY
Little Shop of Horrors title song? The Urchins?
How about Matchmaker, Matchmaker from Fiddler on the Roof? Maybe you can reduce it down to 3, because at the end there are 5 girls.
Would 'Mama, I'm A Big Girl Now' work without the mothers?

we were thinking that, but i think it's overdone at districts thats the only problem :-.
But thank you <33
Are you looking for more 'vocal' or more' comedic'?
'Can That Boy Foxtrot?" which was cut from FOLLIES is a fantastic comedy song and works as a solo, duet or trio.

MATCHMAKER is probably the best choice, for districts
However, something that in unconventional...
look in THE LIFE, you can do it with threes, it is written for two

SOmebudy's Eyes from Footloose or Matchmaker from Fiddler
The title song Ruthless from Ruthless! would work... It's an older woman, a middle aged woman and an 8 year old girl though.
If you have enough soul u could try to tackle something from dreamgirls :)
