Posted: 10/6/03 at 11:56amSo who's excited for tomorrow? I am...thats for sure!!! I've been waiting for the Avenue Q CD since I saw the show the day after Black Out 2003. Also...an added bonus...The Lion King special edition comes out on DVD. This is my all time favorite Disney cartoon. What a day! Anyway...tell me what ya'll think about either tomorrow when ya'll get these.

Posted: 10/6/03 at 12:34pmI just looked on amazon and the cover art contains a parental advisory. I started a thread about this last month wondering if it would in fact carry a warning. This has to be the first theatre recording to carry one right?

If i'm not mistaken, the RENT cd carried a warning too..butI could be wrong

Posted: 10/7/03 at 12:47pmWell as we speak I am now listening to the AveQ CD. Awesome so far...more thoughts on that later. Anyway...did anyone else have a hard time getting this CD? I had to go to four CD stores...they were all sold out. One place went through 20 CD's by 11:30. Anyway...back to the CD (Everyone's a little bit racist!!!)

Posted: 10/7/03 at 1:31pmHey me too! I'm on "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" as well. And yes I had difficulty getting this CD as well. I went to the FYE on 52nd and 6th and it wasn't there...so I headed over to Virgin Megastore in Times Square where I picked it up...

Posted: 10/8/03 at 12:31amit took me ages to find it in vegas. only one store (sam goody) on the wayyy other side of town had one copy .... i had her put it on hold and i hurried over there .... soo thankful i found it cuz i luv it!!!

Posted: 10/8/03 at 1:40pmWell Boston is eating up copies of this show. Anyway...what does everyone think of the recording? I loved it. It tells a pretty complete story and the characters are great. I've got to say Rod is a funny character (great voice, funny) and trekkie is the man (or monster that is). At times the recording reminded me of Charlie Brown. The music is great and the actors are perfect. Along with the show the recording gets two thumbs up.
