"Composer Galt MacDermot will conduct a newly arranged concert version of his 1971 Tony Award-winning musical Two Gentlemen of Verona, a Shakespearean adaptation with lyrics by John Guare, for two performances on November 21 and 22 at the Guggenheim Museum, located at Fifth Avenue and 89th Street in Manhattan.
The cast of the concert will include Luther Creek, David Damane, Suzanne Griffith, Catrice Joseph Hart, Larry Marshall, Chris Monteleone and Melanie Po. Tickets for the concert are $20 general admission. For information, phone the box office at 212-423-3587."

two gentlemen of verona is one of my all time favorites. if i was in NYC i would definitely be there. well, you can't have everything..but you can sure as hell try.

I saw the original cast and it was enormously fun. Most of it had to do with the staging and the cast. It will be interesting if it will be able to stand on it's own in concert. We will have to wait and see.
I wish I could see that. No one ever does the show and I love the score. I wish I could have seen the original staging. It sounds like it was loads of fun.
