Hey, I'm looking at doing a BFA in acting at UBC or U. Alberta . Does anyone have any insight on which program is better? For that matter does anyone have any other suggestions for BFA programs?

Alberta is good....
Go to Ryerson.

UofA and the National Theatre School, are the best pure acting programs in Canada. If you're interested in a degree, UofA is your best option.
It's a very intense 3 year program and has a great track record as far as graduates working in Canada.

U of A, or Ryerson, or even University of Windsor have good programs.
Don't rush to the National Theatre School.
I would suggest going there after you've finished a 4 year program.
The kids come out of NTS to soon and too young.

UBC used to be a very good school. Not sure where it stands now.
Better to be in a theatre town like Edmonton or Toronto.

Also, Humber and George Brown have good programs... avoid York.
