could someone please tell me what key the original song "Somewhere over the rainbow" is in that Judy Garland sings? I know it starts on an B flat below middle C but thats all I know. . . hurry please tell me!!!! Thanks!

If it starts on a B flat I would assume it's in F.

All my arrangements, including the one in a "Judy Garland" songbook are in C.

However, if you're saying that the first note...as in the "Some" of "Somewhere" is a B-flat, then it's in B-flat. Now, if B-flat is the first note of the intro.."When all the clouds...."....then I'm not sure.

But, the key F would be quite high for this song, at least for the arrangements I've seen.
