Alvin Epstein taking over for Cullum? What happened to Captain Kirk? Barry Bostwick? And has anyone seen Don Richard in the role? How is he?

I believe I read that Alvin Epstein will take over for Don Richard, not Cullum. Don Richard will take over for Cullum. Am I right, folks?

Don Richard is only performing the role in the interval between John and the new guy. Don is wonderful as Caldwell.

Technically, Richard is really still an understudy who will perform the role in the interim. I am not really sure what the difference is. Probably that they will not re-do the playbill to say Richard is playing the role, but just keep the insert/announcement/posted message in the lobby. And he won't be getting a bigger paycheck.

I would have loved to see Christopher Walken in the role...he would be perfect.....pretty good singer, great dancer, and great dark comedic actor......
