Playbill reports "Understudies Shine in the Broadway Spotlight" on May 3. This sounds like an awesome night. Has anyone attending in past years?

And its hosted by Seth Rudetsky- sounds like a good time!

I think this is the first time Seth is involved with a show like this, but Musicals Tonight has been doing understudy shows regularly for two seasons and they're always very exciting. Their next ones are on May 9, 23 & 31.

Seth hosted an understudies show at Ars Nova last year. I'm trying to remember who was there. Let's see, Jimmy Smagula sang I Like Him, Leslie Kritzer sang Tell Me on a Sunday, Katy Grenfell sang something from Hairspray, Darcie Roberts sang something from Aida. That's all I remember but it was a great show.

As far as I'm concerned, anything featuring Seth is a great show.

I wish there was a way to see the full line up for Sunday's show but I can't find anything online so I guess I'll find out when I arrive!
