Posted: 7/4/11 at 11:38amInterestingly, I found a job posting online for the production company that is producing the Evita revival. The company description, dated last month, says "In addition, the company has announced its production of an original Broadway musical based on the life of Houdini, with a creative team that includes Jack O'Brien (director), Stephen Schwartz (composer) and Glenn Slater (lyricist)."

#28Update on Houdini Musical
Posted: 7/6/11 at 8:51amHappening? Given how long musicals develop these days and given the fact that none of the shows being discussed have been written, well, maybe the year 2020? At some point everyone will learn that publicists are paid to keep people's names in the news. As I said earlier, Mr. Jackman has had his name attached to every musical (stage and film) ever written. The fact is, none of them will probably ever come to pass, but if they do it ain't happening now or anywhere in the near future, so come on back and bump this thread in three years.
