Is it a good show? I was thinking about buying the Cast Recording on iTunes. But Im not sure. Any one have opinions on the show?

You should buy it. It's great and very funny. I loved it on broadway and I love to listen to it.

An incredible, smart musical. Definitely buy the cast recording.

And not in a snarky way, but I'm sure if you search the boards, you'll find TONS of opinions of the show. It's discussed a lot.

The libretto is also available to buy. Once you hear it, you may not be able to resist. Lots of fun.

I didn't want to see it but was given a ticket as a gift. One of the best shows I have seen.

Personally, I loved Urinetown on stage in NY & the Philly tour with Tom Hewitt & Christiane Noll (Lockstock & Hope) . It's quick, clever and very funny...but I would not enjoy the music out of the context of the show. There's only one way to really experience Urinetown and that's live...imo.

This is the only musical I'm obsessed with that I unfortunately never got to see. I love everything about it! Definitely get the cast recording, you will not regret it one bit.
