Urinetown Musical Movie

I was reading the Wicked playbill for the 1,000th time (I work the show and that is somenthing to do when you get bored) and I saw in one of the producers bios that a movie version of Urinetown is in the works. Does anyone know anything else about it?

It's been in the works since 2003. Killer Films picked up the film rights and that's ALL that has been announced publicly.

Who knows what kind of issues relate to the film regarding the John Rando/direction copyright, too.

I haven't heard anything, but I love reading playbills. It was through a playbill for Wicked (which I did like) where I found out about "Across the Universe."
