Does anyone have any really excellent variety show ideas?

I'd like to put a charity benefit together for a group of young performers. I'm thinking a dinner theater variety show night!

There's always the "Cabaret" idea or perhaps a Christmas variety show... I'd like to find a strong theme or something to link everything together.

Just wondering if there is some brilliant idea out there that anyone knows of?

Well, it's been a long dream of mine to put together a variety show in which every performer has some sort of spinal injury. Proceeds would go to The Christopher Reeve Foundation or another similar group.
