Interesting and informative article! Any thoughts?
It is very well researched and does not get ahead of itself. The bottom line is that vaccination penetration is starting to reach meaningful levels (from a marketing standpoint, not epidemiologically) and that is a cause for optimism. By next week, 30% of Manhattanites will have had at least one shot. A zip code analysis of where ticket purchases for non-tourist shows originate (not just in NYC) reveals an even higher number. By some point in the summer, most theatre-goers will be vaccinated and will have had time to let that sink into their mindset before the first trickle of shows commence (again).
