I was just browsing through Playbill.com and there was an article that talked about how Broadway newcomer Vanessa Ray is going to play Crissy until the end of January when Allison returns.

Posted: 10/13/09 at 2:07pmher first performance was Thursday. She was AWESOME. She's a very endearing actress with similar energy to Allison. They both played Nemo in the Finding Nemo musical.

Posted: 10/13/09 at 2:38pmI ADORE Vanessa Ray. I saw her last year when Spelling Bee was in Rochester. I have never seen an Olive cry more onstage. Can't wait for her to break my heart all over again.
