Vanessa Williams on Broadway

Do you someitmes have those moments when ppl fail to acknowledge Broadway? To make the questoin more clear, here is an example:

Today I was watching Hollywood Break-ups or something like that cuz nothing else was on, and they were talking about Vanessa Williams and they said "....while in NYC doing some stuff on Broadway.."

NO NOT JUST SOME STUFF!

Well, believe it or not, the general population of America would have no idea what INTO THE WOODS and SOFSM even are, so it's pointless.

Just because someone doesn't know anything about musical theatre doesn't make them stupid....

I know nothing about football or baseball - something most of the general population holds near and dear to their heart - and that doesn't make me right and them wrong, or me stupid and them smart. Come on now.

There are several "movie stars" who look at Broadway as just another job, a gig, if you will. While in college, I believe I read a statistic that states that only 1% of the countries population attends Broadway theatre. Really quite a small number when you think about it. We are inside a very tiny bubble...
