Vanities going into the Booth?#1

I was at the Booth Theater yesterday asking about rush for Dividing the Estate (no official word yet) and I overheard the box office guy telling the woman in front of me that a "small musical" is booked for the Booth next. Unless it's something that hasn't been announced yet, it has to be Vanities, right? I can't think of another small musical coming this winter that still needs a theater.

It could also be The Story of My Life, which is even smaller than Vanities. Unless, of course, plans have changed and I missed that memo.

VANITIES is scheduled to start previews in February, so if DIVIDING THE ESTATE had a limited run from October through January, it seems like the time table would work out.

Wasn't the creative team behind THE STORY OF MY LIFE rumored to be interested in The Circle in The Square?

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
