I know this is not Broadway, but I was curious to see if anyone had seen this production yet. I missed it in NYC and I absolutely adore the play and really want to try and catch this production.

I have seen two previews in the past week. Did not see Broadway production so cannot make comparisons. The acting is great (esp, Janet Ulrich Brooks as Sonia and Ross Lehman as Vanya). The set is as good as it gets at the Goodman - large, detailed and somewhere you want to live.
I am not always a fan of Christopher Durang but there are certainly truthful insights and comic diversions to be found here. Sonia's telephone monologue was great writing and Vanya's ranting monologue brought back many memories to me. (Note: I am a 60 something gay male.) Recommended for any long standing theatregoer.
