Vegas PHANTOM's chandelier
re: Vegas PHANTOM's chandelier#1
Posted: 8/13/06 at 3:27pmI thought that the hotels, particularly the Venetian, were spectacular, but overall I absolutely despised Vegas.
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

I really wish I could see this. There are a few images here:

The chandelier is shown on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 11th images.

Posted: 8/13/06 at 4:44pmI haven't seen Phatom in years. I'll have to see it again in London.

I was just in Vegas but didnt have any night to see the show, but I did walk to the Venetian and all over the hotel they have HUGE posters promoting the show and when you walk by the hotel, they are playing the cast recording on the loudspeakers.
Talking about Vegas, did anyone know that Jennifer Holliday is performing there all month at George Wallace's show? I wish I could've catched it but I was totally booked every night.
