I have to agree. It was basically a rehash of arguments, over and over again. However, I admire Ms. Parsons' ability to memorize all that dialogue and deliver it so eloquently--but that was not enough to engage me. I usually like Stephen Spinella, but his character just didn't seem believable. Maybe the play might have worked better as a (shortened) monologue by the elderly mother? I don't know. In any case, I don't envision a very long future for this production.
