Surprised there's no review here. We saw this at the Huntington on Opening Night, after having seen it during the inital B'way run, where it became one of our favorite plays.

Boston version is good. Set is much more intricate, with a whole lot more going on than the much more sparse B'way set. Andrea Syglowski is really great as Vanda, we figured no actress could come close to Nina, but Andrea did. Chris Kipiniak as Thomas wasn't quite as good. Where Hugh Dancy was nearly the equal of Nina Arianda, Kipiniak isn't close to as convincing as Thomas as Syglowski is as Venus.

Where we felt the parties were more closely matched in the Broadway production, it wasn't as close here, which took away from the experience some. Already knowing how the story ends may have entered into our analysis a bit, but the performance definitely skewed in favor of Vanda by quite a bit.
