Just saw a video clip from the most recent Broadway production of BIG RIVER. I LOVED how they used the sign language!! That is a unique production that should have been recorded on video (which I am sure probably was) and marketed!
They put of video clips from all nominated shows (musicals AND plays - loved seeing HENRY IV). Many are decent length, but WICKED is short!!

Big River does indeed look amazing with all the sign language. It must be really powerful to have all those movements with the song. The reprise of Waitin' for the Light to Shine was undoubtedly amazing, and it's the perfect song to have sign language with.
Big River is the show I regret not seeing the most this season.
I'm pretty sure some videos were made and others were just taken from previous recordings. Like for Wicked, I've seen that clip on a site before. But Fiddler on the other hand looks like the number was performed specifically for the camera because the camera looks like its on the stage.

That scene really was amazing. I wish I'd had the chance to see it more than once. While the show itself is not entirely spectacular, the production was fantastic. I'd love for it to win Best Revival, although I'm sure Assassins will get the prize.

The Fiddler clip was pretty good, as were the Assassins and Big River clips. I think the Wonderful Town clip almost put me to sleep though; couldn't they have picked a more lively number?

Of course, it was just ruled that BIG RIVER will not be doing a number on the Tony Awards, since the show is no longer running.
