The Vivian Beaumont's stage (at least for when I saw The Frogs) was circular and jutted out into the audience and the seats surrounded it.. like a sideways "D"
Your seats should be good :)

I would say sections 200 and 300 are the best.
I sat 500 for Stokes show. It was very good, since he was foward, but I couldn't see the upstage part of the Piazza set.

I sat in the last row of the far left in the 100s, and I saw everything fine. Because it's circular, you're just seeing things from a different viewpoint. I don't think there's too many seats in that theatre which would be bad, I saw everything fine. Though I think there was one scene where a statue came down and might have blocked some of the view on the right.
And there certainly is one nice thing about left seats in Piazza as well...

Posted: 5/19/05 at 8:17pmThe row designation only indicates how far you are from the stage. The section designation (100, 200, etc.) will show you how far from center you are.

A seating chart can be found right here on BWW, believe it or not.

Posted: 5/23/05 at 1:49amIs row D too close to the stage for Light in the Piazza? My sister is short and I don't want the stage to block her view (since she is the one dragging me to this anyways).
