I'm hopefully going to scrape the cash together to see this concert on Sunday. It's pricey but the lineup is wonderful and I'll feel like I've done my part for the Kerry campaign. I don't need this math textbook anyway. Is anyone here going to be attending? PM me if you're planning to or would like to go. Here's the info--

Voices for Change will take place at Ars Nova Theater, located at 511 West 54th Street in New York City. Tickets cost $75 and 100 percent of ticket sales are a direct contribution to Running for Change, a Democratic Political Action Committee. You're such a tease.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Popculture, I'll send you more pics. Jeeeeez. PM me your email address again.

I'm not teasing -- I get HARRASSED here for not meeting folks for dinner, drinks, sex, etc. I put it out there that I was going to the Voices for Change concert in September. I met exactly one BWWer and we had a great time afterwards. (Thanks, baby, I hope you didn't get too much grief from the neighbors about the noise.)

So, here we go again -- I'm going to the concert on Sunday. Zola will be out on the loose.

All the Kerry-Edwards fans here should start putting their money where their mouth is. Why is $75 not steep to see Standing Ovations and buying a trayful of cocktails, but too steep to effect change in the White House?

yay Zola! a man who has his priorities straight! hopefully chasing_rainbows and anyone else still on the fence will be able to make it. If you're a Kerry supporter, what better way for a Broadway fanatic to contribute to Bush's defeat for less than it would cost to see DRACULA. As a matter of fact DRACULA WILL BE THERE!

Think of it this way. These campaigns require massive amounts of money. People will donate TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars out of their pockets, expecting nothing in return except victory. Well for only a $75 donation, you'll be treated like a VIP, invited to a donors-only event designed specifically for Broadway performers, luminaries, and fans alike. Where all in the theatre community can join together in solidarity, enjoy some wine, and be thanked personally by some of the best voices and talents in theatre!! So it's almost like you'd be losing money NOT to go! Don't think about that too much. Trust me.
