weird because on the wedding singer website it says he starts friday... i'm going to miss Matt though as much as i do want to see Constantine

im not surprised the initial poster is confused, many of the announcements of his joining WS had September 8th as his start date. I just assumed it was wrong because a Friday would be a strange day to start.

Or maybe they wanted to give him a few shows to warm his feet before his "opening night". It's normal for a new cast member to go in a few shows before their official opening.
