WEDDING SINGER Tickets Question

I hate karma.
I knew if I waited one more week to get tickets for THE WEDDING SINGER it would be dramatically harder.
Here's my question for you.
As an early birthday present, two friends and I are hopping to the city in order to see THE WEDDING SINGER.
Up until the TONYs I was counting on buying the tickets through TDF. But, since the telecast, the offer has disappeared.
The only day that works for all of us is Thursday the 22nd.
What are the chances TDF will have tickets up for that performance? Since it is a Thursday I'm hoping my chances aren't completely blown.
I can't afford even the cheapest seats through Telecharge so my only option is to rush if I can't get the tix through TDF.
What time should I get to the theatre to make sure I can get three tickets?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've thought this movie would make a great musical since the day I saw it in theatres.
Thanks for your help.

I went yesterday, and the show was sold out.
For rush, I'd say you should get there by 9:00, 9:30 at the latest. They sell evening rush tickets right when the box office opens at 10.

Posted: 6/15/06 at 4:25pmIt will probably not be on TDF anytime soon, but you can rush it for the front row. Get there at around 9:30AM (you can get 2 tickets per ID per person, though).

Posted: 6/15/06 at 6:16pmThrough last week, if you went to http://www.broadwayoffers.com (which is run by Telecharge) and entered code WSSLF63 on the morning of the DAY BEFORE you wanted to go, you could buy house seats (1st 10 rows center orchestra) for $65 plus around $10 in surcharges. Essentially, producers hold this tickets until a day or 2 before the show and what they don't sell to cast and connections is released to the public. They'll probably have less to release but it's great when it works. Good luck.

Posted: 6/15/06 at 7:36pmI did Student Rush for last night's show. I went to the theater at about 5:45, and still got a great seat. Though my ticket said partial view, I was able to see everything just fine. It was a wonderful show, so good luck with your tickets.
