Gosh, no votes at all for "Guys and Dolls"?
I love WSS, but for me, "Guys and Dolls" has it all. A wonderful (I would say just about perfect) score, one great song after another, funny and endearing characters, a great book (often an overlooked quality in a musical), and a clever plot. I just can't think of anything that could have been improved upon.
I just think Frank Loesser was a genius.
