my Best friend went backstage after the show-Idina was sick to it was the day before she left, so my friend didnt get to hug her cuz Idina didnt want to hug anyone with a cold!

I haven't heard about Shoshana as Elphaba. I saw her in "Hairspray", but was wondering how she was in "Wicked".

Blair Underwood and Judith Light were both in the audience when I saw it in June. BU is just as yummy in person and JL has had some very good work done and is TINY.

Shoshana was wonderful...in great voice, funny, touching and fierce acting....almost makes you say Idina WHO?

I was exceedingly pleased and the audience seemed to think so too judging from their enthusiastic reaction and thunderous ovation at show's end. Her chemistry with JLT was genuine.

Matt originated the role of Link in Hairspray. He's awesome! I ran into him on the subway last week. We chatted and I gave him directions to the screen test he was reading for! He said he was going to be back in New York for a while before heading back out into the world of a working actor...

Shoshana Bean is awesome! She has such a great voice. I haven't seen her in the show yet, but I saw her perform after an annoyingly long ride to Barnes & Noble on Monday.
