I'm confused. Is the cast recording of Woman in White part live and part studio?
and another question, why are there 2 cast albums with London casts?

The LCR was recorded live during the opening night performance, and then edited to take out audience sounds. However, Michael Crawford had to re-record his final song, "You Can Get Away With Anything" because, I believe, the audience laughter was just too much to edit out completely. That track is included at the end of the CD.
