I'm practicing the songs with my voice teacher for a while and we're going to record Il Mondo Era Vuoto (LITP) and Why God, Why? (Miss Saigon) as my demos next week.

how can you record songs? i have a microphone which I can hook up to my computer, but I don't know how to make a cd or demo of it...
i'm currently singing "johanna" (ST) and "old man river" (SB) (and for this song, im singing it in the original bway key- very low, but i have a pretty low voice)
i don't think i'd win this contest, but i'd like to enter anyways...

any help would be appreciated

I think that Times like This from "Lucky Stiff" would be fun to hear. Also a good idea is By The Sea from "Sweeney". I would love to hear Divas Lament! My New Philosophy would be cute!

I don't know if I'll enter or not. I think I don't have good enough chops to enter...

...but we shall see. I might sing Heaven on their Minds or Green Finch and Linnet Bird.
