My friend and I are planning on seeing the West Side Story matinee before we go to Alice's last performance in next to normal. If we waited until the new discount code comes out in early July, do you think we could still get close seats?

It might be possible. I walked up to the box office about a month ago day of and managed to get a seat in the second row of the front mezzanine. No idea if things will be different during the summer though.
