College~ thanks for your opinion. You're free to dislike it of course. The recently posted interview/review with Wildhron and Murphy could explain the angle thet are taking with this.

It is a vocally demanding role for any seasoned female, but Lauren pulled it off well. Perhaps some things will change with the music as well, who knows. It's also a magnificant vehicle for any female to play regardless where this show ends up.
And if you grasped the ending with Zelda you would see that she was waiting for Scott... and one could interpret that as, in reality like waiting for the moon, waiting for the romance or the life she envisioned with Scott or perhaps many other things. As Murphy explained "Waiting For Scott was not a good title".
That was my understanding of the title after seeing the production.
