This is a variant on the Broadway Degrees of Seperation game. Here's what you do: either have someone give you a challenge or come up with an actor and a role. Then, connect the actor and the role through actors that have played or understudied the same parts. For example:

Patti LuPone could play Elle Woods in LEGALLY BLONDE:

Patti LuPone played Rose in Gypsy
Maureen Moore understudied Rose in Gypsy and played June
Laura Bell Bundy played June and played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde

Marlon Brando could play Prince Eric in THE LITTLE MERMAID:

Marlon Brando played Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls
Burke Moses played Sky Masterson and played Gaston in Beauty and the Beast
Marc Kudisch played Gaston and played Snake/Balladeer/Narrator in The Apple Tree
Sean Palmer understudied Snake/Balladeer/Narrator and played Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid

You could have gotten a more direct route by saying that Betty Buckley played Rose in Gypsy at Papermill with LBB as June.
