Posted: 4/9/07 at 3:06pmGo to heretv.com and go to podcasts to listen to Jim Caruso interview Amanda Green on the show as well as the cast recording that is supposedly being released in June. The clips sound great! This show did not deserve to close!

Posted: 4/10/07 at 1:27amThat track- " Laura, Laura " sounds so amazing. I LOVE that song...I cannot wait for the album to come out. I loved the music when I saw it and I can't wait to hear the whole album....I don't understand the anymosity towards this show. Perhaps a little too much testosterone in the score for some people.

Posted: 4/10/07 at 10:50amI heard the clips on the website of the show before it closed and I enjoyed them. I don't think it was a very good idea for musical in the first place, but they should have gone off-bway with it instead. It could have developed a following had it been able to afford to stay open.

Off-broadway's financial climate is almost as bad as Broadway's.
My view on the show is that they did almost everything right... except making the movie into a musical in the first place.

The operating costs could have been signifiacntly cut by reducing the scope of the show. It would have fit better in a small house with a small set, IMO.
