Posted: 3/5/08 at 3:38pmI'm going that same night to see SITPWG. I bought my tickets through www.sundayintheparkonbroadway.com and used the broadwaybox discount code SPBBOX2 to save some money. They are not center orchestra, but they still are good. Hope you get to see the show! Have a great trip!

Posted: 3/5/08 at 4:29pmAnother suggestion - they have a general seating rush at the theatre where you buy tickets ($31), and then the ushers will seat you anywhere in the theatre about 5 minutes before the show starts. They said it was student only, but they never asked to see my ID, and there were plenty of people that were not students. About half of us got seated in the orchestra and the other half got seated in the mezz. And Studio 54 is such a great theatre, there are no bad seats. They do this every night even if the show is sold out because the box office person told me they get at least 60 cancellations per night.

Thanks for the suggestions. :)
I wanted to buy tickets for this show back when we scheduled, but the bf wanted Cry Baby, and we'd already seen a production of Sunday with Raul Esparza and Melissa Errico so I let him have his way.
Is Studio 54 where Apple Tree was? I only make it once or twice a year, so I've never learned which theatre is which.
Thanks again!

I've been told that general rush is the way to go too.
So what time do you have to be at the box office by?

Same question as Revolutionary. Is it like 2 hrs before curtain? 3?
TIA!

This show is not everyone's cup of tea, so I'd be careful with recommending it with such confidence. I mean many people have loved it, and I can appreciate that--I enjoyed some moments. But if I were from out of town and PS was one of the only shows I got to see, I'd be disappointed. I'd be happy if I got to see Sunday, however.
