Terribly sad. It's amazing that there have been only three voices in all these years.
Sad that another person who gave the most famous animated character has passed. I wonder who will succeed him? I'm betting Jim Cummings.

I read in some of the articles that his wife served as one of the voices of Minnie Mouse. That's an interesting coincidence!

I have to say, Allwine is THE definitive Mickey voice by now. It's sort of wrong to say that since Walt Disney was the original, but Allwine's is just so much more warm and familiar and is really what people think of when they think of Mickey.
