We Will Rock You - pretty good LONG online trailer

For anyone interested in We Will Rock You this is a look at some bits from the original London cast. It lasts about 8 minutes and has bits from about that many songs.

The book is horrible but the magnificent performances from this cast fought against it.

It looks like a drugged up version of JCS. lol

But, the actors are really good. I might have to go pick this recording up, because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Queen.

The recording was done live at the theatre, so it's like a concert with the applause left in. It's hateful.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Nope you should get it in my opinion..

There is not a lot they could do OTHER than do a live recording.
The studio versions of all these songs already exist in perfect form by Queen.

This production is all about the live experience of getting together to hear the music and the atmosphere of the audience. A studio production would have been flat and pointless.

Well, the same can be said of a live recording. Honestly, I hated the show so vehemently I shouldn't be allowed to talk about it. So just ignore me.

I'm rather underwhelmed by the long trailer. I haven't seen the production, but it seems as though the choreography isn't that well formed. Most of the songs shown indicate the star search staging where it takes you right out of the plot (minus one or two in the preview) all songs were to the audience as if it were a concert. Perhaps this is integral with the plot. Lee?

Hey Jeff,

The plot is not really of any concern with this show, it is all about the music. It is much more like going to see a thinly held together concert with great performances of great songs than a traditional book musical,

That was a nice thing to do for people to watch, but I'd have to agree...the choreography kind of sucks :) and as an avid Queen fan it takes some getting use to someone else singing their songs. But after the 3rd time I started to get into the groove of things

Maybe I'll take the chance and drive the 3hrs. to Vegas to see it for myself.

What is the plot in this show?
Mamma Mia has a plot so I assume that this show has one as well
