I got my autographed (thanks Jason, if you're reading this) copy of the new CD and I LOVE it. Brown's songwriting is so strong -- very reminiscent of two of my favorite pop writers - Billy Joel and Ben Folds. You can definitely hear little pieces that sound like they could have come out of Last Five Years (not counting the track that actually does...) or Songs From a New World. I especially LOVE Someone to Fall Back On (I listened to it 4 times before I could go on to the next song!) and Nothing In Common (not to be confused with David Friedman's song...).
Thanks again for another great listening experience - just as I did for Songs, L5Y, and Parade, I'm sure I'll be listening to this CD MANY times, and far into the future!
