I'm looking for a website where I can view Hirschfeld drawings from Broadway shows.

Thanks!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Thanks,

I forgot to mention I knew about his official website, but that doesn't include EVERYTHING.

I know he did one of Seussical (90% sure) but it's not on there.

Ah, just trying to help.

LOVE Hirschfeld's drawings. I would buy a good one to frame and display proudly, but, alas, too pricey for me.

this may sound weird, but every library in the country probably has one of the giant desktop books of The Art of Al Hirschfeld. You'll find your time better spent hauling ass to the library for something like that as the variety will be broader and the quality of reproduction better. I spent decades in the library and somehow I keep forgetting how convenient and well stocked they usually are because the internet is so handy.
