Posted: 8/29/06 at 1:52pmHi everyone, I was hoping to see The Wedding Singer in January, but looking at the recent grosses, I'm not sure whether that will happen. How long do you guys think it will be around for considering the recent decline in attendance?

Get your tickets now, the most advanced sales they have, the more chances you have to see it. Every single one of us makes a difference, get your tix now! I think it could be a potential new hit since Constantine is joining the company.

Yeah, because Constantine is such a HUGE draw.
You really need to learn how to use commas. It's kinda sad, buddy boy.
And I would say that getting tickets for the latest date possible is not always a wise thing, particularly with a show that will close in a matter of months. Shows that are loosing money like no other do not always wait out their advance sale tickets...most times they give a weeks notice and that's it.

The only reason I would even consider seeing this is:
But I might not make it to NYC until the end of the year and who knows if 1). it will still be running and if so 2). He will still be in it.

Posted: 8/29/06 at 3:08pmI believe he's only staying through November, because then he's doing legally Blonde.

Well, if he is doing "Legally Blonde" than he is coming to San Francisco.
Has it been confirmed that he is doing that show?

Posted: 8/29/06 at 4:40pmI agree him alone is worth the trip. But it looks like Blake is really doing well for himself. He will be in a new show every season!

yeah, i really hate the thought!
but even if you cant see Richard, the rest of the cast is phoenomenal, so its not like "Richard's not in it, it wont be good anymore"
so yeah, just go see the show! have fun!

Posted: 8/29/06 at 7:16pmThe whole cast is wonderful. Richard Blake is just one of the reasons why the cast is so good. It's ashame that the material isnt as good as the cast. But I will say everyone has a good time.

Posted: 8/29/06 at 7:19pmThe show is truly alot of fun, and I know the word fun around here is used loosely. But its so great to watch a show that features a women dropping water on herself or watching a grandmother call her grandson's ex-fiancee "a skanky ho". In no other show will you get that. Its truly a great time. True, its not perfect--- as so many have been QUICK to point out. But its fun, and what more can you ask for in a show?
