Happy to hear this show will perform. I revisited the show the other day and it's simply brilliant with a great score and the title number moved me to tears. I haven't seen every Broadway show, but by far this is the best new musical of the season. A pity that it's not nominated. The theatre was very busy, but it should have been 100% sold out.

I wanted to vote for Real Women Have Curves, but they didn't give me the option although it was listed.

Can you describe what this violent person looked like? It's pathetic how disrespectful people are while seeing shows. It definitely lowers my interest in seeing Broadway shows. I understand also the staff at the theater for being in shock and they are not prepared to know what to do with crazy incidents like this one.

This show is pure joy, I agree! But I wouldn't put this fun vibrant, engaging and entertaining show in the same sentence as MHE. That show was never ending!

Did anyone else see it?

Monkey, you are correct, but the people who attended with me were not friends with anyone, so I'm talking for us 3. The audience may have been friendly though. But I feel that the reaction was legit. Unlike when I saw Tammy Faye for example and had a screaming queen next to me but the rest of the audience was a bit more "polite". This felt honest.

I really think once the word gets out, this show will be really hard to get tickets to, the audience reaction was insane, so this will be a hard ticket to get. Buy them now while they are still affordable.

I just went to see the dress rehearsal, this show could open tomorrow and it's in excellent shape (I can't say this about the other shows I have seen recently) this show was simply fabulous!

bwayphreak, I am glad you caught Once Upon a Mattress. Inception, I hope you come back to NYC soon!

I just came back from seeing Platinum Dreams Off Broadway at The York Theater on 76th and Lexington. It was 70 minutes with no intermission. Did anyone else go? I saw a production at the Fringe Festival starring Sarah Litzinger and I was amazed and decided to go to see this production on the UES. Any thoughts? I recommend it, last chance to see it on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 7.30pm I believe.

That makes sense then! Glad you caught W4E then. I missed that you saw Adam Lambert in Cabaret. That was a good pick! But also didn't care for The Outsiders, so the only one you really missed out on was Mattress then, in my point of view.

I would have picked Water for Elephants, Once Upon a Mattress, Sunset, Death and maybe Back to the Future. The 1st 2 I mentioned were the best shows of the season and they closed, so you can never see these productions again.

Death, but MHE will likely close because it's not good. Gypsy I have no interest and I won't ever see it.

I have some advice:

you can go to the box office and get a $54 ticket "partial view", those are perfectly fine, but my real advice is to skip it, I have seen better drag shows for free at gay bars.
