How difficult will it be to buy broadway show tickets (hopefully discounted) for the week of Christmas?? Mostly interested in the 26-29?? Would prefer to see 2-3 shows if possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
Updated On: 11/11/18 at 12:43 PMTKTS will still be open. So there will be discount tickets available. The real question is if the shows you want to see will be available at a discount. That’s a harder question to answer. What shows are you interested in?

Given that for most shows the Christmas-NYE week is the highest grossing of the year, with average ticket prices way above usual, I'd say it's absolutely the worst time to be looking for discount tickets. Why not do so a week or two later?
Lotteries, rush and TKTS are probably going to be your best bets... no shows are going to want to give up inventory for that week at a discount in advance. Especially if they know there's a bunch of people in town for the holidays who will hit TKTS as a fallback.

You've now made three threads about this question...
Most discount codes have blackout dates this week. If there are shows you specifically want to see, buy the tickets in advance. If you don't care what you see, stuff will pop up on TKTS or for rush the week of if it hasn't sold out.
