Weekend Tickets to Curious Incident and/or Constellations Advice

I'm off to NYC this weekend with my mom and dad. We have show openings for Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. We would love to see Curious Incident, but Consellations has no tickets available via Telecharge and Curious Incident only has split seats that aren't very good.

How much will chances improve if we go to the box office either when we arrive on Friday or on the day of the show? Any other tips would be welcome.

Curious Incident advertises day-of rush seats for every performance. I'd inquire on Friday if that will hold true for your open slots and then plan to get there early to purchase. You're three? You may have to split up 2 and 1 and purchase separately to get in.
Constellations most likely won't have availability for either performance time.
Alternate: If you've not seen Disgraced, I'd recommend it. Frequently available at TKTS.
Also, if you're not averse to Off-B'way, I found Between Riverside and Crazy pretty special.

Constellations is in a theater with subscribers, so they can always cancel/change dates/etc. in advance. Could happen...

I know. I subscribe. Last week, I had to change my tix from 1/17 and the first available Sat. eve. was 2/14. Not saying impossible, just unlikely.
