Weird question about Beth Fowler

I was using the Talkin' Broadway cast album database to find out what recordings had Beth Fowler, and saw that she wasn't just on the OBC of Beauty and the Beast, but on the Australian cast album of the show the same year. Anyone know how that worked? Because I don't think she was in that production.

I have the original Australian cast recording of Beauty & the Beast - just had to hear Hugh Jackman as Gaston (his first musical - what a riot!!! He was great!). Beth Fowler is NOT in that cast - I believe the cast is all Australian - and Beth is from New Jersey!

Right, but she's listed as singing in the cast album. Who was the Melbourne Mrs. Potts? Did they just stick Fowler's voice in for some reason?

Looking at the booklet that came with the CD, Beth's name is nowhere to be found. Mrs. Potts was played by Robyn Arthur. I also checked under "Cast" on the BFO website (http://www.theboyfromoz.com/intro.html) and all it says about Beth and B&TB is "created Mrs. Potts in Disney's Beauty & the Beast (Los Angeles Ovation Award)."

Thank you. I wonder if that cast album DB takes corrections?
