Gal who went on for Carly was super! who knows if she even got a proper put-in. Good for her!
The show is a fun time. Elizbeth Stanley is brilliance. Can't say enough good things about Chris Hanke, either. The real star of the show is Harriet Harris. Although, it looks like they added a new big 11 o-clock for her, and didn't get a chance to orchestrate. She stole the show with that song. Chester Gregory is also in top vocal form.
I should say that this show is starting to get a tad old for Broadway. I mean by that the wink-wink "we know you're watching a show" goofy theatre thing. I anticipated that's what I would see, so there isn't anything distorted about the way the show is marketted, so it isn't a problem...but the show isn't the kind of aesthetic I particularly like.
That said, the show was still a good time. I wish they'd elaborate on the bows, though. The audience wants to give appreciation.
