The Producers, The Woman in White, and Mary Poppins are the big three, I think.

Jerry Springer the Opera still a must-see.

In this order of preference -

The Producers
Woman in White
Mary Poppins

Unless you've already seen The Producers.

The first Billy Elliot preview is March 24, I think, but of course no one knows how good it will be yet.

Jerry Springer and the reduced shakespeare company (Shakespeare abridged)

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

STARLIGHT EXPRESS is the one i recomend the most but you may have a hard time getting tickets because it's closed.

Woman in White for me was very mediocre. But if you like LLoyd Webber; go for it. Plenty of seats available. Mary Poppins is terrific and is the theatrical event of the season. Book your tickets yesterday. They are hard to come by and expensive. The producers we have in the states and I guess Nathan Lane is already out of it indefintely due to knee and back injuries. Jerry Springer Opera is so much fun... and i don't think ti will be transfering to New York for a couple of reasons. So it is a must.

Just to thow this out, I am a loyal ALW fan and WOMAN IN WHITE was my first disapointment in him and it is the most classical "Sondheim" thing he's ever done I believe. So, maybe not ALL ALW poeple would automatically like WIW though I do plan to see it.
