West End or Broadway?

Mind you, the following is mere speculation, since, honestly, I have no REAL clue. I think it might be harder in the West End because audiences aren't afraid of totally trashing shows and performers. On Broadway, I think the audiences are somehow gentler; they really *really* want the actors to succeed in a way that isn't seen on the West End (not that the folks at the West End want them to do BADLY, but I think they expect certain things from certain people).
