Are there any recordings of a Tony singing the optional high C at the end of the quintet in West Side? I have never heard it sung before and I was surprised to see it in the score.

Josh Young does a West Side Story "montage" at the end of his solo CD and I believe he hits the optional C, granted it's just him and not everyone else, but it sounds beauitful.

Doesn't Larry Kert hit the high C with Carol Lawrence on the OBC Recording?

I just listened to Josh Young's medley and the key is changed so the last note is only a B flat. =P

How I wish I could legitimately belt a C!
