Posted: 9/19/09 at 10:57amI am seeing WSS tomorrow for the first time and I wanted to know if anyone has seen it since September 1st. I wanted to know who was playing Anybodys. Also, how has the attendance been with major principles? Should I be prepared for an Olivo no show?

Posted: 9/19/09 at 11:46amFrom what I've heard, the leads have horrible attendance, so I wouldn't go in expecting Olivo.

I saw the show on Thursday night for the second time since going in previews. While I still find it a completely underwhelming experience, Josefina Scaglione and Karen Olivo continue to make it worth seeing.
Sara Dobbs (who replaced Tro Shaw) is now playing Anybodys.
There were understudies on for Bernardo, Action, and a few of the ensemble roles.

Posted: 9/19/09 at 12:39pmI saw it last night. Karen was in. Josefina was out, but I thought Haley did an amazing job. Curtis was out, so there was some switching around of ensemble roles making it look like more than one Jet was out but it was really just switching around. The guy who plays Bernardo was out as well as a couple of other Sharks. I have to say I agree with somethingwicked that the experience was underwhelming to say the least.

Thank you somethingwicked. A person I know is Sara Dobb's cousin and I wanted to make sure she was in the show because they didn't update the cast on the WSS website and she is supposely only playing a 5 week engagement with the show.
Does anyone know if Josefina was back in today?
